Ally Project: Understanding Trans Experiences

This session will discuss the most common questions that come up when addressing gender identity and gender diversity on campus, including the use of language, what it means to identify as transgender or gender non-conforming, the experiences of transgender students and employees, and resources you can utilize as an ally to create and maintain a safe and welcoming campus. This session will be led by Zerandrian Morris, a faculty member in the Columbia School of Social Work.
