Designed specifically for staff and faculty, the Ally Project explores ways to better support LGBT students and colleagues.  This elective class will cover topics, such as language and terminology, how to support members of the LGBTQA community, and campus resources. This year’s Ally Project will be led by Sheltreese McCoy, social justice educator, consultant and president of RHedI, LLC.

The Ally Project is designed specifically for staff and faculty and is sponsored by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Center, LGBT Employee Resource Group, LGBT Task Force, Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity, Office of Human Resource, and Office of the Vice President for Campus Life.  The mission of the Ally Project is to explore ways to better support lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students and colleagues.
